I got into Photography without even planning on it. I purchased a camera after I purchased my dream car. A Dodge Challenger to be exact. I wanted to record me doing burnouts and videos of me going fast. Which I never got around to doing. I ended of taking the kids out and while they played I was taking pictures. I always loved editing pictures so I couldn't wait to get home and play around with the pictures I had taken. 

I ended up editing some and I was like, I'm going to put my name on these and I did. I was like I can be a Photographer, jokingly. And at the time I was in a car club, and we always had events going on. Mind you, I'm new to this, I was so scared to take pictures. I was like, what if they don't like them. So much going through my head at this point. So what I did was, ask a couple that I was close with to let me practice on them right quick. And they came out good, so I got into a groove. I took pictures of everything moving that day, people, cars, I was snapping. They loved the pictures I was taking. So one day a member booked me to take pictures of her Dodge Charger. And it went great. 

So now, I'm like, I want to take more pictures but of people. I reached out to some friends I knew to practice on. I had to upgrade my camera at this point because It wasn't made for getting deep into Photography. So I did, and I had to learn how to work it. I had to learn all the terms and what this do and what this don't do. It was a good challenge though. And, i am actually still using the camera I upgraded to. Its October of 2021 as I write this. I've had it about 3 years now. I will probably upgrade to a new camera soon. 

But to continue my story, that's how I got into Photography. I've learned so much and came so far. I still have a ways to go. I feel I'm nowhere near where I know I can be. And that alone lets me know that I will be on of the greatest to ever do this. I have had my times where I did quit, but now I'm not looking back anymore. I'm going to see this through because its something I love doing. Whether I'm doing it for free or getting  paid, this is a passion of mines.
